My name is Riccardo and I’m a neurological physiotherapist with 12 years of experience both in the NHS and private sector. I currently work as team lead physiotherapist in King’s College Hospital, and I have experience in treating a wide range of neurological conditions such as stroke, brain injuries and spinal cord injuries as well as neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis. 

My experience ranges across different settings: from acute stroke and neurosurgery, inpatient neuro rehabilitation and outpatient neuro rehab. I can help clients to regain their independence and live a meaningful lifestyle, working on posture, strengthening and balance, recommending what form of exercise is the best suited. I have a special interest in vestibular and balance rehabilitation, and I can provide assessment and treatments for BPPV, vertigo and other vestibular pathologies. 

I am also specialised in the assessment and treatment of facial palsy, and I will recommend the appropriate tools and strategies to work towards specific goals to empower clients to live a fulfilling life both on the physical and psychological perspective. I aim to promote an active lifestyle through exercise education and gentle movements such as Tai Chi and Pilates.
